A blue screen right after installing Windows is usually a driver or firmware issue, not a broken install. Here is the fastest path to a stable system.
01Common causes
- Missing storage drivers (INACCESSIBLE_BOOT_DEVICE)
- Outdated chipset/GPU drivers
- BIOS settings (Secure Boot, XMP memory profiles)
02Step 1 — Update drivers from the manufacturer
Download chipset, storage (NVMe), graphics and network drivers from your PC maker’s support page, not third-party driver tools.
03Step 2 — Reset BIOS defaults
04Step 3 — Run memory and disk checks
If errors persist with a specific stop code, note it and send it to our support — we’ll point you to the right fix.
