How to Activate Microsoft Office (2024, 2021 & 2019)

Office 2024, Office 2021 and Office 2019 are all activated the same way: redeem your key on the official Microsoft setup page, download the installer, then sign in to activate.

1. 1Open setup.office.com in your browser.
2. 2Sign in with your Microsoft account, or create a free one.
3. 3Enter the 25-character key from your order email and click Next.

1. 1Click Install and save the setup file.
2. 2Run the downloaded file and accept the User Account Control prompt.
3. 3Wait for the installation to finish (a few minutes on most connections).

1. 1Open any app — Word, Excel or PowerPoint.
2. 2If prompted, Sign in with the account you used to redeem the key.
3. 3Go to File > Account — it should show “Product Activated”.

• Office 2021+ requires Windows 10 or Windows 11.
• One license activates a single device (some editions allow five).
• No internet during setup? Activate later from File > Account.
